I began my journey as a trained mental health professional in community mental health providing therapy and other services to children and families. For nearly a decade I’ve worked in early childhood education spaces facilitating trainings and workshops for mental health professionals and educators. My facilitation approach focuses on examining the effects of racism and oppression on systems such as education and healthcare--to highlight the impact of what happens when systems meant to nurture and heal betray their purpose. In my work, I center the voices and experiences of people who are marginalized to help individuals identify the power they hold to address inequities in their own personal and professional work.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Black World Studies and a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology-Counseling Practice with a focus on child and family counseling.

Societal systems can harm all of us--and in different ways. I want to support you in understanding these realities and finding self-worth, meaning, healing and practice that resists and interrupts these structures.
I have a background in mediation and motivational interviewing and have 7 years of experience in facilitating workshops and trainings. I specialize in holding an empathetic stance and grounding my coaching in emotional processing that leads to action. I want you to take on the shape that allows you to embody your values and live into the practice of those values. As a coach, I utilize empathy, active listening and draw upon theory.
As a desi (South Asian) woman, I continue to grapple with my identity situated in the United States and beyond, and will bring my perspective--both my unique racial consciousness and struggles to our coaching. I see a coaching relationship as co-created, and strive for a relationship in which you feel cared for and challenged.

I am a licensed mental health counselor with sixteen years of experience working with children and families across clinical, school, and community settings. I hold a Master of Education in Counseling from Columbia University and have pursued advanced training in a range of therapeutic approaches, including professional development at the Ackerman Institute for the Family, the Albert Ellis Institute for Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, and certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I am deeply committed to creating validating spaces where individuals can explore and address their most challenging issues with care, empathy, and vulnerability. I facilitate and participate in groups that explore race and other identities, reflecting my dedication to examining my own white racial identity and how all of our identities impact our daily lives. My work is centered on helping clients embrace their authentic selves and navigate life's complexities with support and clarity.
